Cabotswood’s digital presence did not reflect the premium quality of their country boots, creating a disconnect with their brand identity. They needed tailored user journeys to convert diverse audiences, from rural enthusiasts to urban fashion-conscious customers. Implementing complex international e-commerce functionality posed technical challenges, requiring support for multiple currencies, shipping options, and fulfillment processes across various countries.

Marketing Strategy.

We conducted extensive market research to position Cabotswood against competitors like Le Chameau and Hunter, highlighting their unique value proposition of premium quality at accessible prices.


Our segmentation analysis identified three key customer personas—country enthusiasts, urban fashion buyers, and international customers—crafting targeted messaging for each. We developed a multi-channel acquisition strategy, leveraging organic search, social media, and partnerships with country lifestyle publications and events.


Our pricing strategy emphasized perceived value while maintaining competitive edges. The content marketing plan focused on storytelling around Cabotswood’s 30-year British craftsmanship heritage, showcasing their meticulous boot-making process to build brand trust.

Wireframe.

We mapped user journeys for different customer segments, identifying key touchpoints and conversion opportunities. The site hierarchy ensured intuitive navigation, with products accessible within three clicks.


Wireframes were designed to minimize checkout abandonment through trust signals, simplified processes, and clear calls-to-action. Responsive layouts optimized experiences for mobile, tablet, and desktop, with interactive prototypes allowing stakeholders to test user flows and provide feedback before design implementation.

Design.

We translated Cabotswood’s craftsmanship into digital elements, using textures, colors, and typography that evoked a premium country lifestyle while maintaining modern appeal. Five design concepts emphasized product photography and craftsmanship details, showcasing boot quality.


Custom interface elements, including product filters, size selectors, and gallery views, enhanced the shopping experience while reflecting brand character.

A comprehensive design system with reusable components ensured visual consistency and scalability. Mood boards demonstrated how the design aligned with competitors and various browsing contexts.

Development.

We built a bespoke, responsive e-commerce platform optimized for conversions, featuring custom product filtering and discovery tools to highlight Cabotswood’s boots. International commerce integration supported multiple currencies, country-specific taxes, and global shipping and fulfillment services.


Secure payment processing included credit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay to reduce checkout abandonment. Performance optimizations, such as caching, image compression, and code minification, ensured fast load times, enhancing user experience and SEO.


An intuitive content management system enabled Cabotswood’s team to update products, pricing, and content independently. Comprehensive analytics tracked user behavior, conversion funnels, and e-commerce metrics for ongoing optimization.

SEO.

We embarked on a national SEO marketing campaign for Atelius services. We ranked for each specific product offering within the 4 weeks. We worked on indirect keywords and ranked an additional 25 keywords within the first 3 months.

We captured engaged and relevant target audiences and organic website traffic delivered leads and sales quickly. We provided all aspects of on-page, off-page, technical SEO and a full international link-building.
